wow, maybe you're just paranoid. i live in nyc, (born and raised) and i don't really see that attitude ..well sure there are rude people you come across a lot actually, but hey, its nyc! you really can't do anything about it. I advise you to ignore it and worry about yourself, no need to deal with haters.

but i can't help to wonder, are you a new to the city? Maybe you're just not used to the vibe..
